EFT (= Emotional Freedom Techniques)

I use EFT to process trauma’s, phobia, physical or psychosomatic complains (headache, migrain, backpain,) and addiction. The aim of the EFT is that people become less sensitive for incentives who lead to anguishnes or anxiety (desensitisation); the emotional burden of the memory and the pain will be counteracted.

With Emotional Freedom Techniques we follow the following steps:
• Value the intensity of the negative emotion between 0 and 10, 0 is none and 10 is a lot.
• The unconscious resistance against healing and unconscious holding on is breached by the affirmation: “I exept myself completly despite [the problem]”; simultaneously I will tap on  several  acupuncture points.
• After this you activate your right and left brainpart with a couple of easy excersises.
• Valuate the intensity of the negative emotion, give again a value between 0 and 10.

If the therapy is effective the client will relax little by little. This goes often with bodily sensations as yawning. The negative emotion and pain will be releast.
